Manage Your Certificate/Account
You can make changes to your license online or by email. Please call the board office if you do not see the update you wish listed below.
Online Update
- Address changes
- Order duplicate license
- Order wall certificates
- Inactive Company
Email Update
- Update Designated Engineer (DE)
- Update Designated Land Surveyor (DLS)
- Company name changes
Update Designated Engineer/Designated Land Surveyor
Submit a new Change of Designated Engineer/Land Surveyor form and mail or email it to our office. This cannot be completed through your online account.
Online
- Log in or sign up for a SAW account for your firm.
- You’ll be redirected to Secure Access Washington (SAW)
- Access our service Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors (BRPELS)
- Your existing firm license must be linked to your account to make any changes to the firm license.
- If your account is not already linked, you must link existing business and request an activation code. If you do not receive the activation code, email our office.
- At your account dashboard:
- Manage your existing business license
- Select the name of your firm
- You will receive a confirmation email
Send an email to, engineers@brpels.wa.gov
- You will receive a confirmation email when your request is completed
