Exam Schedule
All NCEES exams are administered through Computer-Based Testing (CBT).
All Washington exam applicants must complete the application process before scheduling the exam.

Application deadlines for PE Structural exams are:
- January 15th for the April exam administration
- July 31st for the October exam administration

What can I bring to the exam?

Are special accommodations available?
Yes, please see the Reasonable Accommodations page of the NCEES website for instructions on how to make arrangements for your exam.
Do I need to reapply if I failed an exam?
No, you do not need to reapply to the board office, you can reschedule your exam directly with NCEES. Make sure we have your current mailing address.
After You Pass the Exams
Once you pass the NCEES PE exam
- Make sure that we have your current mailing address.
- Licenses are issued the first week of every month and you will be notified of your license number. You can look for your license number online.
- Wall certificates will be issued within 12 weeks.
No further action is required, you do not need to contact the Board office.
