BRPELS Board Chair, Dave Peden, PE, SE, gave an agency update to the Washington State Association of County Engineers on Tuesday, June 25th in Ritzville. Dave explained the Board’s role and authority, along with the Board’s activities in the past year. Those include stakeholder input on the title “professional engineer,” improving tests for PLS and On-Site exams and partnering with the University of Washington for a transportation study, to help attract students into fields supporting transportation infrastructure. Dave also encouraged the group to call or write BRPELS anytime with questions.
