- Former Benton County Public Works Administrator and County Engineer
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Geospatial, from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
Rasmussen replaces James Wengler, PLS CFedS who retires after serving two 5-year terms. He'll remain a Pro-Tem Board member, assisting with investigations.
The Board has seven members and two pro-tem, who are a variety of experienced Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors. Board members are appointed by Governor Jay Inslee to 5-year terms.
The Board’s Mission is to safeguard life, health, property, and promote the public welfare, regarding engineering, land surveying and on-site wastewater system designs.
