How To Get Your Professional Engineer License When Licensed in Another Jurisdiction

How To Get Your License:

Applicants who currently hold an active Professional Engineer license in a board approved licensing jurisdiction, must first apply to our board online or by mail and then submit an NCEES record.

NCEES records include education information, exam verification, work experience and more.

If you are sending a NCEES experience record, you must also submit a completed application, pay the application fee, and pass the Washington Engineer Law Review Exam.

See what engineering branches the Board recognizes for licenses.
