Log in to your professional license account
  • Access our service Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors (BRPELS)
You may be prompted to link your professional license to your account. No activation code required.

Submit a customer contact form.

Order a Copy of Your License

Printed copies of professional licenses cannot be requested by email. You must go online and pay a $5.00 print fee.

At your account dashboard:

  1. Manage your existing professional license
  2. Click your license number
  3. Select Print License
Order a Wall Certificate

A wall certificate is mailed automatically with initial licensure.

You can order additional wall certificates online. They take up to 8 weeks to mail.

At your account dashboard:

  1. Manage your existing professional license
  2. Click your license number
  3. Select Request Duplicate Wall Certificate
Retired/Inactive Status

Request for retired status will be granted effective the date provided by the licensee on the retirement application. (WAC 196-12-065 & WAC 196-16-035)

How to Add an Additional Endorsement

There are additional requirements to add another branch of engineering to your Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license. (WAC 196-12-030)

Adding an endorsement to your license can be done online. At your account dashboard:

  • Manage your existing professional license
  • Click your license number and select 'Manage Endorsement'
  • From the drop down, select the type of endorsement you're applying for
  • Upload the first two pages of the Professional Engineer Registration Application
How to Add a Structural Endorsement

There are additional requirements to apply for your SE license in Washington State. (WAC 196-12-047) The Structural Engineer license is viewed as an endorsement to your Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license.
